COMPRADOR
(Una botiga de queviures)
VENEDOR.- Bon dia, què desitja?
COMPRADOR.- Bon dia. Volia comprar una mica de temps.
VENEDOR.- Temps? L’hem acabat. Quina llàstima! Ahir vàrem vendre el poc que ens quedava.
COMPRADOR.- A mi m’havien dit que vosaltres sempre en teníeu.
VENEDOR.- És cert, però d’això ja fa temps.
COMPRADOR.- Fa temps que sempre teníeu temps?
VENEDOR.- Sí, però no sé què ha passat. Últimament hi ha hagut molta demanda, i ahir mateix ens quedàrem sense existències.
COMPRADOR.- No podria comprovar si en algun racó de la botiga en troba un poc?
VENEDOR.- Ja ho he mirat. Seria inútil tornar-ho a mirar.
COMPRADOR.- Qui sap! Podria ser que no ho hagi mirat bé.
VENEDOR.- I tant que ho he mirat!
COMPRADOR.- Si us plau...
VENEDOR.- No insisteixi: he perdut molt temps cercant si en trobava.
COMPRADOR.- Per això no l’heu trobat: perquè l’heu perdut. Només podem trobar allò que perdem. Si no l’haguéssiu perdut no el buscaríeu.
VENEDOR.- Què insinua?
COMPRADOR.- Si l’haguéssiu guardat en un lloc segur, ara el trobaríeu.
VENEDOR.- No el trobo perquè no hi és. L’he acabat. No en tinc. Ahir encara en tenia un poc, però avui ja no en tinc gens.
COMPRADOR.- I quan en tornareu a tenir? En rebreu aviat?
VENEDOR.- És difícil de dir. N’he fet una bona comanda, però de moment el distribuïdor tampoc no en té, i per aquesta motiu no ens en pot servir.
COMPRADOR.- Vaja! I a on en podria trobar jo? Coneixeu alguna altra botiga on en puguin tenir?
VENEDOR.- No crec que en trobeu enlloc. Es tracta d’una manca general. La falta de temps és continental i, segurament, universal. Qui sap! Potser en algun país molt estranger en tinguin. No ho sé.
COMPRADOR.- En algun país molt estranger? A on?
VENEDOR.- Ja li he dit que no ho sé. Potser a l’Àfrica?
COMPRADOR.- Vostè creu que a l’Àfrica en trobaré? En aquell indret llunyà en tenen?
VENEDOR.- És possible.
COMPRADOR.- Hi aniré i ho comprovaré. Moltes gràcies.
VENEDOR.- De res.
COMPRADOR.- Adeu.
VENEDOR.- Avisi’m si en troba.
COMPRADOR.- Quedi’s tranquil: n’hi portaré uns quants quilos.
VENEDOR.- Tones.
COMPRADOR.- Què?
VENEDOR.- Pot portar-me’n unes quantes tones.
COMPRADOR.- Serà servit.
VENEDOR.- Li ho pagaré a bon preu.
COMPRADOR.- Al mateix preu que jo l’hauré comprat. Amb el temps no hi vull fer negoci.
VENEDOR.- Ben dit!
